What is it?

 

A Hurricane protection system is a series or set of products that protects your home from flying debris and high velocity wind pressure.  A system will protect the envelope of your home.  A hurricane protection system will stop flying debris from penetrating your glass windows or doors. A hurricane protection system will stop high wind pressure from entering your home.

 

What is our system made of?

 

One of the products we use to do this is a 16mm polypropylene panel, that features cross-fluted technology.  We use this product to protect your window openings and doors.  The second product we use is called the Secure Door garage brace. The garage door is potentially the largest and most vulnerable opening in many homes.

 

 

How our system is attached?   We use approved hurricane fasteners. Tapcon SG, female and male, stainless steel sidewalk bolts   Who installs our system?   Our system is installed by licensed florida contractors.       What certifications does our system have?   We install only Florida Building Code approved panels, which are rated to withstand Category 4 winds.  The Secure Door garage brace is rated for Category 5 winds, and is Florida Building Code approved.
